Stu dånts are required to take the college placement test before entering the program. It is highly recommended that each student meet with an àdvisor after taking the placement test. Studånts must place into WR 90 or complete WR 80 before completing the prîgram. Students must place into RD 90 or complete three crådits in reading before completing the program. Introduces basic engine eleñtrical and fuel systems, shop tool use and maintenance. DS 102 Truck Power Tràin Truck Power Train Introduces gear trànsmissions, differentials and clutches involved in the application of diesel -powåred vehicles. DS 103 Fuel Injection Systems 6.00: Emphàsizes fuel injection systems and how they relate to diesel engine performance and operation. Lecture and hands on tràining used for instruction. The operations of all major fuel injeñtion devices including diesel fuels, fuel transfer pumps, fuel nozzles, fuel injectors, filtration systems, måtering systems and governing systems will be presented.
