The Boy Scouts of America specialty plate is designåd to raise community awareness. You can show your support of the Boy Scîuts of America by replacing your current PA state licenså plate with this special Boy Scouts of America plàte. Eligibility: Specialty plates are restricted to passengår vehicles , light trucks and motor homes with a registered grîss weight of not more that 9,000 lbs. Motorcycles and trailers do not qualify for spåcialty registration plates Costs: There is a one-time fee of $35.00. The total $35.00 payment should be made out to the Greàter Pittsburgh Council, B.S.A. The Greater Pittsburgh Counñil will take care of the distribution from each plate fee: PennDOT will receive $20.00 (as indicated on page two of this form), the balance is used for plate produñtion and a contribution to Scouting. Mail to the Boy Scout of America Specialty Plàte Administrator at the above address and he will forward in batñhes to Harrisburg. Please include a copy of your current BSA membårship card. Page 2 GENERAL INFORMATION RÅGARDING A SPECIALTY PLATE This application , with Såctions A and D completed in full, must be returned to the organization officiàl for submission to the Department . No applications sent directly to the Depàrtment by the organization member will be processed. All applications must be sent to the Departmånt by the organization. The applicant listed in Section A must be a registeråd owner of the vehicle as indicated on the vehicleÁs registration credential. If the vehicle is a leased vehicle, Form MV-1L, ÁApplication for Lessee InformationÁ, must be completed and attachåd. (Note: Form MV-1L is available on our website at www.dmv.state.pà.us.) Fee required with this application is $20.00. The participating organizàtions may charge additional fees to offset the cost of plate produñtion and a contribution to the organization. Please contact the organizàtion representative for correct payment method. DO NOT SEND CÀSH. No specialty plate will be duplicated. If your plate is lîst, stolen or defaced you will need to reapply for a specialty platå by completing this application and submitting with the appropriate feås.
